ICI materials and information will now be sorted under labeled tabs, and search capabilities have been expanded.
The website has been active since 1997, and the recent upgrade is the first since 2004. The website serves policy makers, analysts, the media and the general public.

PRESS RELEASE
Washington, DC, June 8, 2009—The Investment Company Institute (ICI) recently introduced its enhanced website with more user-friendly features and improved functionality. The ICI is a source for information, insight, and analysis on mutual fund issues, and the improvements will feature more timely updates on the latest developments at ICI.
“This enhanced ICI website is designed to improve public and member access to ICI’s intellectual capital. With improved functionality, the website allows visitors to obtain the Institute’s materials and information quickly and efficiently,” said ICI President and CEO Paul Schott Stevens.
ICI’s updated website is designed to be more user-friendly by providing information in layers. For example, a rotating flash image on the home page will highlight the latest developments, ICI research, and upcoming conferences. Labeled tabs—including “Latest News,” “Fund FAQs,” and “Data Highlights” —are designed to allow the user to quickly access in-depth information and data from ICI. The revamped website also offers visitors a better and more thorough search capability. Users now have the option of searching by keyword, document type, and date.
Launched in 1997, ICI’s website provides information to legislative and regulatory policymakers, academics, industry analysts, the media, the international community, and the general public. This is the ICI’s third website update and the first since 2004. The website address remains the same, www.ici.org.
