In Wednesday morning's Wall Street Journal Fund Track column, Sam Mamudi gathered opinions from fund managers on the impact of the Build America Bonds program, which forms part of President Obama's stimulus plan. Managers told Mamudi that the program has helped bring stability to the muni market. Among those quoted include Christine Thompson, who heads the muni fund team at Fidelity; Ron Schwartz, manager of Ridgeworth Investment Grade Tax Exempt Bond Fund; and Tim McGregor, director of municipal fixed income at Northern Trust Corp.
