Janus introduced a new website for advisors on Wednesday, on the heels of merging the Janus Advisor Series fund trust into the Janus Investment Fund trust.

"We moved all the share classes and closed off all the direct business," Janus spokesman James Aber explained to MFWire, "as in the existing shareholders will still be able to invest, but it is closed off to new investors. They would have to go through intermediaries."

The new Janus.com/advisor includes business-building programs such as Janus Labs, which helps in practice management, life science and financial engineering. The firm also offers white papers and market updates, as well as access to intellectual information via its email services.

"The site supports Janus’ relationships with advisors by providing smart, relevant and productive information and tools designed to help them better serve their clients," stated Jon Leonard, assistant vice president of digital marketing.

The Website also offers more comprehensive product information and filtering tools.
