Dreyfus Corp. hired Hernaldo Rivera as regional vice president in Souther Texas. Rivera, who was previously a wholesaler with Principal Funds, joined Dreyfus in May. The MFWire reported on Dreyfus' search for a Texas wholesaler in March.

Rivera was not immediately available for comment, as was a spokesperson for Dreyfus. A Principal Funds spokesperson was not immediately available for comment on how Rivera's former duties are being handled.
