Schwab finished the second quarter with $226.6 billion of assets in its Schwab and Laudus fund families. Of that figure, $191.4 billion were in money market funds, and $35.2 billion were in equity and bond funds.
The Q2 AUM was down six percent from $241.9 billion in end-March and four percent from $236.2 billion at the end of June 2008.
Correction: A previous version of this story incorrectly stated Schwab's AUM at the end of the second quarter.
