Boston-based consultant
Financial Research Corp. is making moves to rebuild its executive ranks following its sale to
Mercatus last fall. FRC, which last month brought in Bruce Fador as its new chief, recently made a trio of hires.
FRC appointed
Maurice Leger as research director for mutual funds and product strategy,
Margaret Rorick as director of market research and
Todd Haedrich as senior vice president and director of business development and marketing. The three had assumed their roles several months prior to Tuesday's formal announcement, according to a company spokesperson.
Rorick and Haedrich's positions are new, the spokesperson said. Leger fills a position that had lay vacant following the departure of former director of research
Sam Campbell, who is now serving as director of research at
FUSE Research.
Haedrich is taking on the duties formerly held by
Deb Wetherbee, FRC's longtime sales and relationship development chief who jumped to kasina in March. Haedrich's role, though, is broader, as he is also in charge of marketing and branding, according to the spokesperson.
Haedrich was formerly a director at Mercatus responsible for originating and developing investment opportunities. He will now be responsible for building and maintaining FRC's client relationships.
Leger will oversee investment products, and was formerly the director of investment services and product development at Old Mutual Asset Management. He also has experience as a director of product management at Columbia Management.
Rorick was previously CEO of Rorik Insights, a research firm that defined market opportunities in the financial services space. She will now manage research related to investment consumer behaviors and preferences.
