Fidelity affiliate received the third-highest total tax breaks for the year ended June 30 under a special program in Rhode Island. The
Providence Journal's Neil Downing
reports that FMR Rhode Island received nearly $5.04 million tax breaks under the program, even as the operation plans to add more than 500 jobs in the state starting next year.
Fidelity spokesman Vin Loporchio told the Journal about the expansion plan and confirmed that the asset management giant already boasts about 2,300 employees in the Ocean State.
