Evergreen Investments has picked Timothy O'Brien to be the managing director and lead portfolio manager of the firm's Utility and Telecommuniactions fund. He joins the firm from Gabelli Funds where he has managed the utility fund since 1999. At Evergreen, O'Brien will report to Walter McCormick, managing director and head of the value equity group.
