Mellon Financial is continuing to revamp its various units. Today the firm announced that
Corey A. Griffin has replaced
Francis D. Antin as president and chief executive officer of its Boston Company Asset Management unit.
Griffin most recently was chief operating officer at the firm. He joined Boston Company in 1994 and was its top salesperson before being named marketing director in 1998.
Antin will remain as chairman of the Boston Company. He will also retain his jobs at Mellon Growth Advisors where he is president and CEO. Antin took over that unit at its creation last fall. He reports to Ronald P. O'Hanley, Mellon vice chairman and president of Mellon Institutional Asset Management.
The Boston Company sub-advises a number of the Dreyfus funds. That firm is also owned by Mellon.
