Matt Eisenhardt, previously national sales manager for the financial advisor division at DWS Investments, has joined BlackRock, The MFWire has learned.

Eisenhardt started at BlackRock over the last week, according to a source. His role at the New York firm could not immeidately be confirmed.

Eisenhardt could not be reached for comment. A BlackRock spokesperson declined to comment, citing company policy.

Asked about his replacement at DWS, company spokesperson Lem Brewster wrote in an e-mail that "the National Sales Manager position has changed significantly to reflect our wholesale-team alignment into a hybrid model in order to better serve our clients."

Eisenhardt joined DWS in 2004 following a seven-year stint at Dreyfus Corp.
