The new year has brought new roles for two Grail Advisors executives.
The MFWire has learned that
Chet Chappell has gone from leading
distribution to taking on the role of chief operating officer at the San Francisco-based
ETF shop.
Mitch Zielezinski, who had served as vice president of institutional distribution,
is now managing director and head of distribution.
The change took place January 1, Grail Advisors CEO
Bill Thomas told
The MFWire.
Zielezinksi oversees three external wholesalers. According to Thomas, Grail is searching for a fourth wholesaler, whose mandate is to
cover the West Coast.
Grail is also building a four-person internal sales desk.
"We're actively interviewing," Thomas said, adding that he hopes to fill the posts by the end of the second quarter.
Grail offers seven active ETFs.
