John Blood's position at Commonwealth Financial Network is still vacant, but the company is looking. The independent broker-dealer has posted an ad on their career page for the chief market strategist position.

Blood left Commonwealth for Dimensional Fund Advisors. He stared in his new position on January 4, and works specifically with independent broker-dealers.

Commonwealth revealed that Blood's replacement will chair the firm's investment committee, conduct market research, author white papers, and assist Commonwealth advisors, among other duties.
