Peter Fisher, a former Treasury official who joined BlackRock in 2004, has become the sole bond chief at New York City-based asset manager, company spokesperson Brian Beades confirmed to The MFWire. Scott Amero, who was co-head of the fixed-income group, will continue his portfolio management duties through March and take on an advisory role for the rest of 2010.
