Company Press Release

PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Delaware Investments, a member of Macquarie Group, today announced that it has hired Jeff Klepacki to run its third-party broker/dealer distribution activities. Mr. Klepacki will be responsible for distribution to wirehouses, regional and independent firms – as well as key account management with major distribution partners. He brings 17 years of financial services experience to Delaware.

“Jeff’s combination of competitive focus, wholesaling experience, and disciplined sales methodology make him an excellent fit for our sales team and a strong addition to the Delaware’s distribution management group,” said J. Scott Coleman, executive vice president and head of distribution and marketing at Delaware Investments. “When we combine our product strength with Jeff’s experience and Macquarie’s global asset management capabilities, we are well-positioned to grow our business and take advantage of the terrific momentum we have coming into this new year.”

Mr. Klepacki joins Delaware from Allianz Global Investors, where he held numerous senior client-facing roles since 1997. Following Allianz’s acquisition of Nicholas Applegate Capital Management, Mr. Klepacki oversaw daily management of the firm’s Registered Investment Advisor channel and maintained key client relationships. Mr. Klepacki also served as director of retirement solutions, working with a team to combine multiple Allianz business entities to create unique retirement solutions.

Prior to joining Allianz, he worked on the analytics service desk for Bloomberg Financial Markets for four years. Mr. Klepacki, who has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Rutgers University, is a three-time Olympian as a member of the U.S. Rowing Team, competing in the Barcelona, Atlanta and Sydney Olympic Games, and is a three-time World Champion rower.
