PNC's
BlackRock unit lifted a pair of small cap growth portfolio managers from MFS Investment Management.
Neil Wagner and
Andrew Thut will work in Blackrock's Boston office. Wagner had managed the MFS Institutional Emerging Equities Fund and the MFS New Discovery Fund, for institutional and individual investors.
"We have consistently indicated that strengthening our equity capabilities is a key priority," said Laurence D. Fink, chairman and chief executive officer of BlackRock in a statement.
