Evergreen Investments is launching a new small cap offering for its investors. The new fund is called the Evergreen Special Values Fund, and it has retail and institutional share classes.

Originally, the fund was the Wachovia Special Values Fund. When the two firms merged, this new fund was created.

The fund continues to be led by Jim Tringas.
