The SEC has tapped
Kathleen Griffin as its first ever compliance officer. Griffin, 57, joined the commission last week and was previously vice president, senior compliance manager and deputy code of ethics officer at Putnam Investments.
Earlier in her career, Griffin was senior vice president and director of compliance for Atlantic Trust Company, N.A., and vice president and principal of State Street Global Advisors.
