Putnam Investments launched the
Putnam Global Sector Fund Monday, a fund-of-funds constructed from the company' eight Global Sector products.
The eight actively-managed funds invest in the consumer, natural resources, technology, financials, utilities, health care, telecommunications and industrial sectors. With the components together, the Global Sector Fund is exposed to all sectors in the MSCI World Index, excluding the energy sector.
The fund is offered in six share classes (A, B, C, M, R and Y), with expense ratios ranging between 188 and 218 basis points, according to the Securities and Exchange Commission
filing.
Andrew Matteis, Putnam's head of large-cap equity research, is the fund's portfolio manager.
