UBS Global Asset Management is looking for a third party sales chief. On Monday Virtus Investment Partners revealed that Jeffrey Cerutti, formerly managing director and head of third party sales at UBS GAM, will join Virtus on June 1 as head of retail distribution.

The MFWire has learned that UBS is on the prowl for a successor to Cerutti. The job would include responsibility for the firm's mutual funds retail distribution.

"There is a search, but nobody has been named yet," a UBS spokesman confirmed to The MFWire.

In his post at UBS, Cerutti had led retail channel distribution of mutual funds, separately managed accounts and alternative investments. He first joined the asset manager in 2001.
