Bill Miller isn't the only star mutual fund manager who fell from grace amidst the market plunge of 2008 and 2009. BusinessWeek's Charles Stein highlights the recent pain suffered by Ken Heebner's flagship CGM Focus fund, which averaged 32 percent returns from 2000 to 2007 and then trailed 96 percent of its peers since then.

Heebner, co-founder of Capital Growth Management, launched CGM Focus 13 years ago. He also runs CGM Mutual and CGM Realty.
