In a sign of the changing times, ceos of major corporations have to sign sworn statements as to the validity and integrity of their corporate disclosure reports. The heads of Charles Schwab are no exception. Co-ceos Charles Schwab and David Pottruck, as well as cfo Christopher Dodds, have filed sworn statements with the SEC certifying the firm's annual report on form 10-K for 2001, its 2002 proxy statemeent, and its 10-Qs for the first and second quarters of 2002.
