Ariel took home the top STAR awards in Chicago last night. The awards were handed out by the Mutual Fund Education Alliance and recognize excellence in shareholder communications. The top awards are divided into three different categories by firm size.
Also picking up a special award was
Vanguard. The Valley Forge, Pennsylvania-based firm won its award for a special education campaign it created for a 401(k) plan sponsor.
Ariel Mutual Funds won the award given for providers with up to $3 billion in assets. Montgomery Funds won in the $3 to $20 billion category and Strong Funds took home the trophy for large firms.
