There's been a change in the top ranks of
JPMorgan Asset Management's defined contribution investment-only unit. As
reported by
The MFWire.com's
sister publication,
The 401kWire.com, on Monday, JPMorgan hired
John Galateria
from
T. Rowe Price as its new head of defined contribution investment solutions. Galateria's predecessor,
David Musto, has moved to a new role as chief operating officer for retirement services at JPMorgan.
Galateria will report directly to
Michael Falcon, head of retirement.
Most recently, Galateria ran distribution for
T. Rowe Price's retirement plan services business. A spokesperson for T. Rowe said
Kevin Collins, currently head of client services, will assume Galateria's role while the firm searches for a permanent replacement.
Galateria's move to JPMorgan has been picked up by a number of new outlets, including
PlanSponsor and
Pensions & Investments.
