The Securities & Exchange Commission has tapped former Janus portfolio manager Sharon Pichler, for a new position, InvestmentNews' Jessica Toonkel reports.

Pichler joined the SEC on November 22 as a senior financial analyst and money market fund specialist. She retired from Janus in 2007.
