Vanguard on Friday rolled out the Vanguard Total International Stock ETF. The new offering is a share class of the firm's second-biggest international index fund, the $51.4 billion Vanguard Total International Stock Index Fund.

Sandip Bhagat, principal and head of Vanguard equity group, presided over the closing bell ceremony at the Nasdaq Stock Market in New York City this afternoon to mark the launch.
