Long-term mutual funds had estimated net inflows of $9.3 billion in the latest week, the
Wall Street Journal reports.
It was the fifth-straight week of inflows, according to
data from the
Investment Company Institute. Bond funds posted their third consecutive week of gains, reporting inflows of $1.56 billion, up from $577 million the prior week. Equity funds had estimated inflows of $5.85 billion for the week, compared to estimated inflows of $1.76 billion in the previous week.
