TCW has hired veteran PM Rohit Sah from OppenheimerFunds. Sah, an international small-cap stock specialist, launched the TCW International Small Cap Fund last Friday.

Sah was a nominee for Morningstar's International Stock Manager of the Year Award in 2010 and has landed on Barron's annual list of the "Top 100 Managers" four times.

At OppenheimerFunds, the PMs of the global equity team assumed Sah's former duties on the Oppenheimer International Small Company Fund effective yesterday, according to company spokesman Samuel Wang.

"There will be no change in the investment objective of the Fund," Wong added.

The fund has been closed to new investors since July 20, 2007.
