Goldman Sachs Asset Management continues to see changes in its top ranks.
Steve McGuinness, co-chief operating officer of the investment management unit and global head of distribution, will bid adieu to the firm next month,
InvestmentNews reports.
McGuinness' co-COO,
Eric Lane, will take over his duties, according to the pub, citing people familiar with the situation.
McGuinness has been with GSAM for 19 years.
GSAM has seen other high-level departures in the last year.
In February of last year, Marc Spilker, co-head of GSAM, retired from the firm.
Ed Forst, who rejoined Goldman in 2009 after a stint at Harvard University, became the co-head alongside
Tim O'Neill.
Last December, GSAM's global chief investment officer,
Eileen Rominger, left to join the SEC as director of investment management.
