American Century continues to adjust the ranks of its investment professionals. The Kansas City-based fund firm promoted Phillip Davidson becomes to CIO for the value equity discipline and John Schniedwind becomes CIO for the quantitative equity discipline.

The firm also reassigned John Sykora, formerly a manager on Ultra, to Select as lead portfolio manager. He swaps with former Select manager Wade Slome who moves to Ultra.
