Kelly Marshall, head of investment product management at
Putnam, has left the firm,
InvestmentNews reports.
Marshall joined Putnam in 2009 as director of market planning and analytics, and she was tapped last May to fill the investment product management post vacated by
Chris Thompson,
who left to join Columbia Management in March. Both Marshall, who was in charge of all aspects of product management and development across Putnam's retail, institutional and retirement businesses, and her predecessor ditched their posts less than a year after taking them (
see The 401kWire, 05/03/2010).
Marshall reported to
Jeff Carney, who also recently saw a
change in the title on his business card. She is an alum of Fidelity, Wells Fargo, Nikko Investment Advisors and Accenture.
