Fundsters wondering what
Fidelity's [
see profile] decision to leave Marlborough in 2012 will mean for Massachusetts may want to take a look at the
Boston Globe. Today Todd Wallack
notes that, since Fidelity is moving the Marlborough jobs to Boston, New Hampshire and Rhode Island, many of the 1,100 people affected could continue to live in the same place and simply change their commuting habits.
And Fidelity spokeswoman Anne Crowley confirmed to the Globe that the Boston Behemoth planned the move because of excess vacant office space.
"This was a decision on how to consolidate our real estate," Crowley told the Globe.
