Mike Woods has an expanded role at DWS [see profile]. The investment management firm appointed Woods as regional head of DWS Investments US. This is in addition to his current role as US head of distribution.

The position of regional head of DWS Investments US is a new one, company spokesman Lem Brewster told The MFWire.

Woods, who has been with DWS since August 2009, reports to Wolfgang Matis, global CEO of DWS.
