The New York City apartment that belonged to the late
Roy Neuberger has changed hands for $10.4 million, the
New York York Observer
reports.
David Helfand, ex-chief investment officer of Sam Zell's Equity Office Properties Trust, acquired the three-bedroom apartment on the 10th floor of the Pierre Hotel, according to
Bloomberg.
The transaction became complete yesterday, according to the wire service, which also reported that the apartment went on the market in February. The asking price was
about $11 million.
Neuberger, who co-founded Neuberger Berman in 1939, died in December at the age of 107.
