Former Janus Capital Management[see profile] PMs William Bales and Jakob Holm have taken their stock picking prowess to the dark side and have launched their debut hedge fund, HFMWeek reports.

The pub, citing an investor document, said that the pair has set up a Denver-based fund shop called Bullseye Asset Management, and rolled out the Bullseye Disciplined Long Short Fund, a long/short US small-cap equity strategy.
