The folks at
Vanguard sold coffee for 28 cents in New York City Monday and Tuesday, part of the mutual fund firm's
new campaign to educate people on costs.
Barron's reporter Brendan Conway
posted a photo of Vanguard's
"At-Cost Cafe" truck outside Penn Station in his
Focus on Funds blog.
"What you also see is a pretty nice representation of the fund industry's fee wars,"
Conway wrote.
Vanguard's
"At-Cost Cafe" will make stops at Philadelphia, Washington, D.C. and Boston.
