Most mutual fund firms still are trying to figure Twitter out. Or even if it is all worth it. Bill Gross, though, tells
Barron's that he has it figured out. Or at least that is the message that comes through.
"I have 67,867 Twitter followers and 22,500 podcast subscribers," the Pimco founder and CIO tells the publication as part of a tweet-style roundup of prominent people's quick thoughts on the subject of tweeting.
The rest of Gross' comment:
"Tweets, for example, are the most immediate form of connecting with clients and the investing public. The object is not to persuade, but to communicate quickly and honestly."
