Franklin Templeton's communications team today brought together four top PMs to speak to the press. About a dozen industry and trade reporters gathered for an elegant lunch briefing at Aquavit in midtown Manhattan.

The speakers included: Gary Motyl, chief investment officer of the Templeton Global Equity Group; Serena Perin Vinton, senior vice president in the Franklin Equity Group and PM of the Franklin Growth Fund; Ed Perks, senior vice president and director of core, hybrid portfolio management at the Franklin Equity Group; and Eric Takaha, senior vice president and director of corporate/high yield credit and PM in the Franklin Templeton Fixed Income Group.

Represented media outlets included Barron's, Bloomberg, Dow Jones, TheStreet and the Wall Street Journal.
