Ned Johnson's team is
launching its first two global equity income mutual funds. The
Boston Herald and
Reuters both report that
Ramona Persaud will PM the new direct-sold
Fidelity Global Equity Income Fund [
profile] and the new
Fidelity Advisor Global Equity Income Fund.
"Global uncertainty is positive for this mandate," Persaud reportedly said.
From 2008 through 2011, Persaud was a London-based assistant PM for the
Fidelity Diversified International Fund. She joined the Boston Behemoth nine years ago as an analyst.
The Boston-based, $1.6-trillion money manager already has 10 other equity income-oriented funds with a total AUM of more than $32 billion.
