David Botset is now the former senior vice president and portfolio strategist for ETFs at
Guggenheim. He has joined
Charles Schwab to serve as the firm's new director for product strategy and development,
reported Reuters. According to a Schwab spokeswoman, the position is new.
Botset began working at Schwab on Monday and reports to
Jonathan de St. Paer, vice president of product strategy and development.
Guggenheim has not yet made a decision on how Botset will be replaced. Botset is not the only Guggenheim executive to recently part ways with the firm:
Richard Goldman, COO of Guggenheim Investments;
Marc Zeitoun, head of sales; and
Keith Fletcher, CMO, departed the firm in April.
