PricewaterhouseCoopers has hired
John Siciliano as a managing director for the firm's global asset management consulting practice.
PwC spokesperson Laura Schooler said that Siciliano was hired as "we continue building out that segment of our practice."
Before joining PwC, Siciliano had held a number of jobs, including chairman at
Avondale Strategies and advisory partner at
Grail Partners.
From December 2008 to November 2010, Siciliano had been senior managing director and chief executive officer of investment boutiques with New York Life Investment Management, where he oversaw five investment management boutiques totaling roughly $90 billion assets under management. His responsibilities included managing for global institutional and domestic retail clients, and the investment strategies he offered included equities, fixed income and alternative investments.
Correction: An earlier version mischaracterized John Siciliano's former position with New York Life. He served as senior managing director and CEO of investment boutiques with New York Life Investment Management.
