BlackRock has a new face in charge of its internal and external wholesale teams. The New York City-based firm hired Richard Duff in November to oversee the efforts, according to industry sources. His hiring was followed by the departure of Sal Capizzi, national sales manager.

Where Capizzi landed has not yet been reported.

Duff is not being held out as a direct replacement for Capizzi, though. The firm says that Capizzi's job remains unfilled at this time.
