Maybe hedge funds aren’t all they’re cracked up to be.
That’s the message in a
story from this weekend’s
Wall Street Journal in which one financial advisor states that rather than hedge funds, he puts his clients into mutual funds… that act like hedge funds.
Dan Gaugler, based in Ohio, told the Journal that hedge fund investing didn’t have the return for his wealth clients that he was looking for, so he turned to the mutual funds with hedge-like qualities, which he believes will give a better return.
