Jeffrey Gundlach’s DoubleLine mutual funds have enjoyed blistering growth in the roughly two-and-half years since their inception.
Now to keep up with that growth, his firm plans to hire more people in equity research and client service, as well as in administrative functions such as legal and compliance, accounting and operations.
“Our risk-adjusted performance and our strong customer service are the most critical parts of our business, and we want to continue to build resources to support these endeavors”
Ron Redell, president of
DoubleLine Funds Trust and executive vice president of
DoubleLine Capital, told
MFWire.
For example, Redell said that his company plans to hire five analysts to assist the newly-hired former
TCW [
profile] equity PMs
Husam Nazer and
Brendt Stallings as they build up the newly-launched affiliate
DoubleLine Equity.
Redell declined to go into specifics about the other planned hires but said that client service searches will include wholesalers, among other positions.
