Bill Gross may be the big bully on the active ETF playground right now, but he'll soon have company, according to an
Investment News report.
Pooneh Baghai,
McKinsey & Co.'s co-leader in wealth management, asset management and retirement for the Americas, told reporter Jason Kephart that the space will grow from $10 billion today to $500 billion in 2020.
How will this happen? Essentially, names we all know —
Fidelity [
profile],
T. Rowe Price [
profile] and
Franklin [
profile — will get in the game and bring in big money.
Kephart notes that Gross'
Pimco Total Return ETF [
profile has brought in more than $4 million in less than a year — representing more than 80 percent of active ETF growth.
