The mainstream media is picking up on academic research regarding mutual fund trading costs.

The Associated Press reported yesterday on a study from three university professors about the trading cost inside mutual funds. MFWire reported on the study last month.

The study focuses on the cost of trades PMs make, which can be passed on to investors.
