Barron's mutual fund expert Brendan Conway weighed in this week on a Morningstar report about the iShares S&P U.S. Preferred Stock Index profile].

According to Conway, Morningstar writer Samuel Lee believe the fund has an unfavorable tradeoff for buyers.

Conway explains Lee's position while also noting the possible counterarguments.
