Charles Stein and Alexis Leondis of
Bloomberg highlight how the Allianz subsidiary has become less Gross-dependent in recent years. For example, 63 percent of Pimco's mutual fund assets as of March 31 were managed by 69-year-old Gross, down from 84 percent 10 years ago.
