This summer is looking to be a pivotal season in for
State Street Global Advisors [
profile], whose execs have been making big changes in the company's robust fund line-up.
The Boston-based asset management has
launched several ETFs this year, and the latest — which began trading on July 9—is the
SPDR Russell 2000 ETF (TWOK). The new fund is positioned with special purpose: to track the performance of the Russell 2000 Index, which measures the performance of the small-cap segment of the US equity market.
And that's not all: SSgA also made changes to the indexes, names and tickers of three of its US equity SPDR ETFs. These three products are primed to track Russell Indexes that provide coverage of each underlying market segment.
You can read more on the new fund, as well as specifics on the various changes to the trio of SPDR ETFs, in the full press release—which contains charts and graphs—
