Enough about bond funds. What is happening to bond ETFs, now that interest rates are set to rise? The results are mixed,

The
BlackRock [

iShares CMBS ETF has fallen by two percent over the past 90 days while
BlackRock [
profile]
iShares 20+ Year Treasury Bond ETF lost 11.2 percent and
Pimco [
profile]
Total Return ETF fell almost 4.5 percent in the same period.
However,
SPDR [
profile]
Barclays Convertible Securities ETF has gained 4.24 percent. Others simply made the list of better performing bond ETFs by not losing as much as others, with
SPDR [
profile]
Barclays Short Term High Yield Bond ETF losing only 1.1 percent and
Invesco [
profile] PowerShares Senior Loan Portfolio falling 1.1 percent in the same 90 day period.
