The Boston Behemoth pooh poohed any worries over the security of its facility in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, a center that was formerly owned by defunct telecom Nortel, reports
WRAL Techwire.
Why the concern? Eavesdropping devices were found in a former Nortel campus in Ottawa, Canada, reports the
Ottawa Citizen.
Fidelity had bought the facility when Nortel went bankrupt, gutted the place and made it over into a high tech center for hundreds of employees.
WRAL Techwire reports that Fido gave this statement on the issue:
responded with a brief statement:
"We take security very seriously and while it’s our general practice not to discuss specific practices or matters, we can tell you that we are very comfortable with our facilities in North Carolina. ?regards," Fido spokesperson Adam Banker wrote to the publication.
